Question Subaru Paint...Is it good???

Hey i was wondering if the Subaru paint is any good. If you had any problems with it and how you keep it in good shape, it would be helpful for me. thanks!!

No, the paint isn't that good. It chips and scratches easily. If you do a search you will probably find lots of info on this. Alot of Subaru owners buy some type of clear-bra type of coating for the front of the hood to prevent chipping.

Try to get the dealership to pay for you to get a paintjob by a paintshop rather than doing it themselves. If you are persistent enough and talk to the right people you can usually get what you want. Good luck

the paint job is great, u guys just need to keep ur cars clean, and WAX your cars often, itll make ur paint nicer and STRONGER. trust me. the waxing makes the paingt better, u can clean ur car easier whenver it gets dirty.

waxing the car is always good, it keeps the car smooth and shiny, makes it easier to clean, and will protect it from the sun and birds. has anyone heard about waxing the wheels? is it the same type of wax? the paint is pretty thin and you will see chips easily.

The paint on the WRX seems to be very soft, as has been said before. I have a number of rock chips and scratches already. I hand wash my car weekly and I have waxed it twice already. I commute with it to school and the paint just doesn't like any kind of debris hitting it whatsoever (which happens occasionally). Some paint jobs just seem to hold up better to rocks, etc. than others I guess. Oh well, I still love the car and will learn to live with the soft paint. The performance more than makes up for it. I just hope it doesn't get REALLY bad like as happened to others.
