Oh, I'm not defending the SRT-4 by any means; just pointing out that a lot of cars these days are going for the wannabe muscle-car look.

Where is my beer? It drove away...

Regardless, I would be embarrassed if I drove one. At least with a motorcycle you look cool while you get the rapid acceleration feeling, etc.

And if I died driving a cycle I wouldn't look like some chump driving a pabst blue ribbon beer canmobile with 4 wheels.

stock to stock

we have 3 cat's, I think they only have 1. I know they don't have one before the turbo. They also don't have any muffler after the cats, just streight pipe, that is one of the stupid things I ever cared to rember about those cars. So any exhaust is going to be no help to them while we make gains. So to clearly be fair in the world of exhaust restrictions and the fact that we are LEV's and I don't think they are. Gut out two of our cats and remove the rear secontion so we don't have a muffler, and we would win hands down, technically that's stock to stock.

And this is still beating a dead horse.

I dunno if I'd call it "fake dual exhaust" to me, fake is the kids running around in their civics with two mufflers, one of which is just welded on and not even connected . . .

That is just plain sad. Why do that to such a good quality car?

Stupid. next time you see one of those nitwits tear off the fakey muffler and beat them over the head for me.

PS I have a friend who lives west of you in a town called Port Clinton. It is just south of that party island in Lake Erie called Put In Bay.

The only Dodge I ever liked was a '97 Neon, which was fun to drive, tho not a performer, by any means. It had a fatal flaw: an expensive-looking oil leak that started at about 50K miles, and would have taken $$$ to fix. When I shopped around for my WRX, NO ONE would come up with anything resembling a trade-in. I ended up selling it to a nurse (really) ASWAS and took the money to my Subie dealer. As for the SRT: it still look about the same as the '97 I had, and no amount of underhood goodies can repair that. ps: check the used car market, also, and then decide it a bit of straight line speed is worth it, or if the road gets slick in the winter (as it does where I live) whether FWD is helpful. Try going up a slick hill with FWD, then do the same with AWD, and you'll know which is the better. Need I mention fit and finish? Ah well: a difference of opinion is what makes (car) races so much fun.

funny uphill FWD snow story: First snow storm of the year, I'm way east of cleveland (snow belt, we get lake effect), 2 days after I get my snows put on, there I am tryin to go up a hill in a blizzard, 2nd gear aboud 4000 rpm, wheels are just spinning, eventually I got up, I'd hate to have not had the snows on though

He propositioned you for a race an you responded by informing him he that he was homosexual? What the hell kind of a non sequitur is that?
