Okay so i order a replica c-west 2 front bumper, i order a new one because the one i have is cracked. It came to my house today only for me to find out that it is the right bumper, well the bottom half anyway. The top half is wrong and is made for the 2004 headlights................. so i say wtf they dont even make this body kit for the 04 (it has 02 fog light inserts).......... So i call them up and ask for an exchange for the right one, for a 2002. THe lady says you have the right bumper, the 2002-2005 are all the same kind. I told her that it is 2002-03 04-05 and she tells me its not, its 02-05. I really dont feel like argueing so i just ask how i can get my money back. So now im gonna waste about 150$ shipping it back. But at least i get my money for the bumper back which is only 160$. I guess the shipping companys are happy cause they get a **** load of money. They got the rear right, cause its a lip and i guess 02-05 lips are the same for the rear end. If it's not please tell me so i can be more pissed at them.

I guess i get what i deserve for buying cheap replica parts... sigh

what dicks, ask for a manager and tell them the headlights for 02-03, is different than 04-05. screw that lady she just works there. you understand that there is spiffy up modification but not compelte modification to adhere the bumper. this violates the merchantability clause, where the product is not sufficent for use in its ordinary purposes.
in a court case, which will wont happen because its too cheap, you will win.

 

Did you buy it on a credit card? You could dispute the charge. They'd investigate your claim but it seems like a slam dunk case. It might take some time but you'd recover all your money.

Okay so heres the deal. Shipping back to them is $185. The bumper is $160, so in the end i lose $25 more than i should. I could keep the bumper...... but what could i do with a 04 bumper when i have a 02?

On their website, it said wrx 2002-up, and when i clicked on the bumper, there was a picuture of an 02 with the c-west 2 front bumper. So yah, i dont see where they would get the idea that all four years are the same looks.

Im not too sure what to do. I just know that i don't wanna stay quiet after getting ripped off.

Anyone have any ideas what i should do? And could you guys explain that whole court thing? Im not too familiar with that.

And yes, I used a credit card.

Are 2002-2005 rear lips all the same? (do they fit on each other)

if you can sell the bumper for what you got it for then do it. if not take the 25 loss. 02-03 rear lips are NOT the same as 04-05 rear lips. as the bumpers are different. 02-03 goes lower on the sides and the 04-05 dont, and 04-05 has a different taillight
but be a ***** about it because its their fault for faulty information/advertising. you shouldnt loose anything.

 

Okay, just took a look at the rear lip. It is the right one, 02-03. Looked at the ones online and they match. but the front is what i need most...... because i have a crack in the middle and a tear on a corner, kinda embarrasing but hey, what can you do. I guess ill call them and ask for the manager tomarrow and tell them they are wrong and i want my money back. BUT what happens if they say no???!?!?!?!??!
