So i have a passport x50 and up untill now it has been great. Over winter i drive my beater saturn and i have switched my x50 into that.
Since then i have noticed it picks up very poorly and is nowhere near as reliable as it used to.

Sureley this must be all in my head or perhaps police is using new radar. Mabey it could be my windshield or the fact that snow is on the ground but something is not right.

Anyones help is apreciated who has a clue as to whats going on?

 

Is it in the same position as it was in the previous vehicle? Do you know what your local law enforcement is using? Or were using last time it worked right? If they were using old tech. before, its possible they upgraded, but if anything, they would be using longer range guns. Of course, it is also possible they upgraded to laser, which is harder to pick up since it is pointed directly at the car they are targeting.
