Exclamation

But some people want leather and a MUCH nicer interior and are willing to pay a little more for it.

my friend has a GTI the interior is nicer cause it has a moonroof, but to me i just want speed and the WRX's interior is just as nice without leather, it all comes down to if u want a no potential slow VW with luxury or a very high potentialed quick WRX with just as nice interior. =)

muahahahaha

Cars I have beaten off the line with my stock '02:

Quite a few modded Hondas (CRX, Civics, Preludes) -- here in AZ the kids are so poor all they can "mod" is the exhaust, which actually HURTS performance in many of those cars...

A few VWs (only GTIs try to race)

One of those $18k cheapo Mustangs (come in bright yellow)

Several of those tiny Mercedes coupes with the Kompressor badge on the back -- since when did Mercedes make a Civic?

Lots of old American muscle cars (Camaros, T-birds, etc)

Dodge Neons (modded and stock)

All Acuras I have come up against (those people can't drive, or they were automatic trannys)

An Infinity G35, the car I almost bought instead of my WRX

Cars I have dusted at highway speed:

More Mustangs (these people never learn!)

Various Audis

A BMW 7-series (I never saw the back of it ) that I kept ahead of for 30+ minutes in mixed traffic

A Porsche Boxter, which was a shocker! He tried to pass me three times, but just couldn't edge me out

A few Jags, but they were halfhearted racers at best

Several giant trucks (lifted F150s are as common as Civics in AZ)

Lots of housewives in Escalades and Suburbans -- the most aggressive drivers you will EVER see, bar none!

Cars I have been utterly smoked by

A Dodge Viper (of course)

Several of the new Corvettes (400+ horsepower helps)

A modded RX-7 (sounded like a buzzsaw!)

Some Aston Martin thing which looked like a $200k race car

BMW M3s and M5s (my dad has one, his M3 puts out 298 HP stock, 320+ with the new chip he put in it )

A Honda minivan (that was due to a misshift, VERY SHAMEFUL)

Cars I have been "out-crazied" by (drivers acting so reckless, irrational or just strange that I got the hell out of their way)

A Geo Storm (must have taken him 5 minutes to get up to 100+ MPH)

A woman in a Ford Bronco who passed me on a city street at 50+ mph *by driving in the suicide lane*

Lots of stupid kids in giant pickup trucks, who do idiotic stuff like PASS ME ON THE SHOULDER

And yes, other WRX drivers (with giant wings, modded exhaust and black wheels) who think any other WRX on the road is an instant invitation to race, even in heavy traffic...

HEH! Nothing about that logic would suggest a GTI as the answer; there are certainly a LOT of cars out there that are just as powerful and have a nice interior that aren't VWs

(an Infinity G35 Sedan, for example, or even the new Accord with the 260 HP engine)...

You and me both, dude. The WRX's fun factor is just way too high.
