question
well heres da deal....i can get a 04 wrx 5mt for a good price, basically 25 out the door, my question is, i can also get a 2002 a4 1.8t quattro 5mt for 23,995 starting price so about 27 out the door? anyways...im choosing to get the wrx because it is brand new, has a lot of potential, and i juss loved subarus for the longest time....but an a4 is luxury, it has nice interiors, goot power, and it has potential as well.....i kno this is a subaru forum but yea.... am i making the right decision choosing the wrx? btw this is a daily driver.....

the Audi will definatly be more plush. Ask yourself what you want to do with this car. A WRX is not even close to plush, more of an enthusiasts car.
Do you want a ***** out performance car (for the money this is what i consider a WRX)
or a decently fast car that is fairly nice

well i want power, but im afraid that i will grow out of the power thats whats bugging me right now, but i think im going to go with the wrx, because the mods i want to do to the a4( upgrade turbo, FMIC, chipped, Springs, rims, exhaust ect) is basically going to make it pointless to get a luxury, so i guess im going to go wit da wrx

oh, and anyone who says "wit" and "da" consistently shouldn't drive a luxury (and I'm using the term "luxury" loosely since we're talking abou tan A4) car.

i agree go with no SPOILER!!! pls... expecially dont go with the BIG sti wing.. dont get me wrong i see nothing wrong with the sti wing, i love it and all but i believe it was only ment for the STI only.. and i agree with DUB2w, go sleeper mode.. haha but after you get that exhaust there goes the sleeper haha.. well, GET the WRX and enjoy the Canyon, Rally and Dirt Runs... i know i did and will be in the near future...
The thing is repairs and whether or not you do them yourself. I work on my car. Sube's are easy to work on, and the parts aren't going to break your bank. Audi parts are expensive. As far as the wing, I say get it, only because you can always take it off later at least you'll have it. As you do mods to your car your feelings change about where you want it to go in terms of looks. You might find that as you get along with the modding you really want the wing, then you'd have to shop for one and spend the money on it. Where as I'm sure you can talk the dealer into eating the price for the wing. That's my two cents.
