They aren't too popular around here, but in a few years they might be. Sux, but i still want one 
...and dont forget about all the competition thats out...a lot of would be wrx buyers are going for Zs, rx8s, srt4s, rsxs, etc....which is good...less wrxs on the road

Um no, only the dumbass ones. The new EVO has f'ing altezzas for gods sake but i'd still trade any WRX offered in the U.S. for one in a heartbeat.... Looks can be changed to suit taste. It's the stuff you can't change thats important.... If you think that car is too ugly to be saved then thats cool. Wait a few years for used WRX prices to come down, then they will really be the next Civic. The more people can afford a car, the more popular it gets.
I guess I'll have to keep pouring money into my GC8 until I can afford a STi.
But, all that has nothing to do with the 959, which is a gorgeous car. It would be a hell of a daily driver, slap some winter tires on and kick *** year-round!
