Prelude Question
I friend of mine says that there are AWD preludes, i say there aren't. Does anyone know?
I'm pretty sure there were Preludes with all wheel steering, but not all wheel drive. Big difference there. My friend had like an '89 Prelude several years ago, it had a badge on the back that said something like AWS.

Yes, Prelude's were offered with 4-wheel steering up until the most recent generation, which is offereed with some other type of nifty steering mechanics to compensate for sucky FWD in the SH models. No prelude was made with AWD (from the factory, in the US at least). Probably thought the AWS badge = AWD.

240K on the odo...original engine and tranny. One head gasket job on the engine at around 190K.
From what I understand, they converted the factory where these Civics were built to produce the CRV's, which used to be (maybe they still are?) built on the same platform as Civics.
Oh yeah, you can downshift to first gear at 10 mph anytime you want with no fancy footwork!
