Road and Track had a blurp about this same car a few months back. According to my memory the 2-door hatch is going to be powered by the same 4G63 turbo'ed inline four with AWD. Weight was around 2400 lbs.? I don't remember it being referred to as the another EVO (IX or X), more along the line of a spin-off.

The lines look similar to the new eclipse, so it makes sense I guess. Its like subaru putting the "snout" on all their new models. Mitsu is probably looking for brand recognition by creating cars with similar lines.

im sure just like all the '06 sti images posed on i-club it's just a concept design that will end up back on the drawing boards.
in the case that it is the true design...subaru and mitsubishi are just destroying their already great cars by drastically re-designing them every year instead of sticking to what the consumers/drivers already like...
