New VW Golf! Yeah!

Always loved these cars for some strange reason, though never wanted to buy one. Soon there will be a brand new one!

Nice! I think I've seen some of these pics previously on the vortex. VERY scarey thought: Buying a 1st year, new generation VW!

Given the less than stellar reliability record the current generation Golfs have had(I was actually thinking about getting one before I saw how unreliable they are) I think I'd be even less likely to get the first year of a new generation(given the issues the 2000 Jetta's had too). Plus 109hp? Even the current Golf has 115hp. It's odd that they reduced the HP for the new model.

Was the 115HP a diesel engine? Well this new gen diesel has 184lbs of torque, while not stellar, for 18K it's alright.
