04sti vs. 05 2.5gt, 01.5 audi s4
i am so lost, i know a lot about subaru and have been in to them for about 3 or 4 years now, but i am looking to get a new car by atleast august if nto sooner and i cant decide between the following...
2001.5 audi s4 (negaro blue)
2005 legacy 2.5gt (satin white)
2004-05 sti (aspine white)
if anybody would kinda help me a lil on which way they think i should go that would be great... it is so hard to choose, but hopefully i can make up my mind with some help

luxury and perfomance the GT or S4
more on the perfomance than the STi
What type of driving will you mostly be doing? Of course test drive them to make sure you even like they way they drive.
my two cents

I love Subarus but the Audi S4 is the Shiznit. I would get the Audi depending on the mileage and all that stuff, but I would definately go with the Audi. Style comfort refinement and a kick a$$ twin turbo, and the quattro is not too shabby.
Oh and by the way, I hate you. When I was 17 I had a friggin Buick Skylark. Yeah!!!

When i was shopping for a new car a few months ago, it was a toss up between an 01 S4 and and 05 WRX. After much research and lots of input from techs and owners of both, i went with the Rex.
S4 is a nice package, i mean TT, AWD leather, lotsa goodies....but do you wanna be in the shop every other week for the numerous and endless electrical as well as tranny problems that the s4 is notorious for? Normal upkeep on the S4 and operating expenses are probable multiplied by 3 when comparing to the WRX/STi. The WRX is also more of a drivers car, it's easier to work on from a tuners stand point.
IMO, the WRX is a better, more cost effective choice. Either way, have fun
