both cars are almost equally the same in terms of performance....the biggest difference is the price range..

hmmmm... i could have sworn they listed the new STi as having less oversteer characteristic ever since they change that front / rear differential split. (was 30/70 front/rear.....now i think it is 41/59).

But main advantage of Evo is that they are much easier to tune than STI

it wasn't 30/70 it was 35/65. Everybody has varying opinions as to how the new split affects handling. Many "hardcore racers" think it's meant to make the the everyday driver better and a more reward bias is better for true track drivers.

I can't say on way or the other, but I'm an average driver so I think I would opt for the system that helps me look better.

opps you're right....it was a 35/65 split - been playing/tuning my subaru in PS2:"Tokyo Extreme racer" too much lately (o.0)....
