Max Out Sti In Colorado
My current top speed in 02 wrx wagon is 130. With all the windows open it's WAY loud! But that makes it even more exhilirating because it feels so damn dangerous (and it is if your tires suck).
No sh*t. I immediatly punched it and got off on the first exit. Then took back roads the rest of the way. He most likly radio'ed ahead. No way that he would have cought me, by the time he had slowed down to turn around I would have been back up to 150 and a mile away and pulling. BTW Crown Vic's are governed at 135.

Speedo goes to 140 on the WRX but I must say it felt like I was going faster (I went 150 in my parents Dodge Stealth in High School and I don't remember it being that fast)...I guess I'll never know what it really was.....
My Grand National is horrible. The speedo goes to 85mph. Stock the car is governed at 125mph, I hit that. Replaced the chip with a 140mph govenor, hit that. Replaced it again with a 160mph govenor, havnt hit that. To tell your speed, you let off the gas or get on the brakes and see how long it takes the needle to start moving.

HAHAHA that's a good one!
Nope, the STi is governed at 155, and the WRX is at 140. For some reason every car is different. My 03 WRX's needle would go past 140 and my STi shuts down at 153.
