seen a GC style scoop on 2 other cars..
1 - MR2 Turbo...on TRUNK(rear) lid..feeding rear TMIC..dunno if it really worked all that well.
2 - Sport Compact Car - Ultimate Sstreet Car Challange-Feb. 2002 Issue (on the "2002 Laminar Concepts Viking SRX 7").. feeds the TMIC)

hood scoop for looks??

I think that many of us would give this guy props if we were to look under the hood of that car. My guess is a jdm sr20det fwd motor is just chillin in there. Many may have seen that motor in it's more common application, the 240sx. However, an infiniti G20 ran a 12.9 at rmr with that motor swap. I think it is a kind of innovative way to feed air to his top mount, if indeed it is a sr20det, just my $0.20

its a decent designed scoop, why wouldnt anyone else use it, fabricating a custom one is expensive.

im sure its a decent motor, and a good way to feed the TMIC...hopefully its not just a TMIC just sitting there with nothing attached.
