hey did any body notice that the 2003 mustang cobra was faster than the sti. Didn't HOT ROD just test them and the sti and the cobra were dead on in the 1/4 mi.?. maybe i'm wrong but theese numbers seem skeewed.

 

Magazine numbers are always skewed. Most mags use a correction factor to compensate for altitude, temp, barometric pressure, etc. They basically say that a car that ran a certain time would run this time under ideal conditions. But correction factors aren't accurate on turbocharged cars. For example, a turbo 240sx that ran a 13.04@110.0mph corrected to 12.66@113.2mph. But the car actually ran a 13.04 at the track.
