lancer "o-z rally edition"
I was talking to some girl tonight and her bf has a lancer o-z rally edition that she thinks could run circles around my car. I looked them up and they have a 120 hp 2 liter? Anyone ever driven one? This girl knows nothing about cars, but am I missing something?

You're not missing a damn thing...go show her the article and then run circles around her. The O-Z Rally can't even hold the WRX's jock strap.
It's funny just reading that someone thinks that it can even compete with a WRX. Better idea, take her for a nice little ride.

Yeah, this is the syndrome that Import trolls have when they are with some nerd, and then they think that whoevers **** they are on for that week has the best car on the road, because duh, the guy talks about how cool the thing is all the time. So that is all she knows, other then to swallow. Eventually if their troll status reaches a higher level, the can make it into and SI or a SE-R. Then they try to move into a STI or EVO or M3, then possibly into a supra, then they go to the porsche. It's just the naturall evolution of a car *****.
And yeah, those things are god awful slow. I mean painfully slow, and import troll that was on my **** for a second had one

No, he hasn't done any mods yet. If he has, maybe an intake? One time he revved at me and it sort of sounded like he may have had a different air filter. LOL.

Turbo or no turbo. Launch from around 3500rpms and see the look on their faces in your rear view as you and your AWD leave their dumb asses in the dust. Oh then shift into second. Ive done the same thing to a turboed SI and I drive a non turbo RS GC8. Thats the beauty of AWD!!!

Yeah, I hate when dumb people mouth off about their cars. I don't know why but for some reason most people don't know what my car is, at least where I go to school. Everyone looks at it (even with the STi wing) and is like, "okay, whats the big deal?" Some girl even called my car UGLY! Whatever.

and if they had LSD, it would be waaaay over. Unless your car is pretty modded and you run low 13's.

i remember i was eating at a restaraunt once, and i heard the server talking to a table about cars, so i naturally listened in and to my surprise they were talking about the wrx. (this was a table of middle aged women) and the server said to them "yeah the mitsubishi lancer is the comparable car to the wrx, there is even the oz rally edition..." lets just say that i jumped into that conversation really quick to correct that guy. the ladies probably thought i was weird for jumping in their conversation but i had to straighten that out

Lancer OZ Rally has 120hp.
if shes mistaken and he has a Lancer Ralliart (same name to a point, girls are silly). then hes running a 162HP car.
either way you will destroy him (unless hes got that crazy turbo, but thats not likely).
