Killing a squirrel inside a car just makes a mess

Gratz on your first one though...the rest get easier after this.

Well they say not to swerve to miss animals because that act causes more accidents. Least you slowed down to give him a chance.. Sucks an animal had to die but good thing you didnt wreak.

The worst thing that i hit in the road was a st Bernard dog.. those things are huge!! he ran out of the side of the road that was full of bushes right into my wheel well. His head went in and made a full rotation then hit the side of my car. I was going 55 (was the speed limit) so i stopped as soon as i could. Surprised it didnt cause more damage to my car than it did. It was actually very minimal. My father was with me and i was worried about the dog i pulled over and looked every where for him. No luck finding him so i went to every house around and either talked to the owners or left notes for them that i hit there dog and would pay for any damages i may have caused. I actually had animal damage insurance.. something when you live in the country in oregon years ago they required.. But no one claimed the dog in the end but i did try to do my part to take care of the ordeal. I do have to say it scared the crap out of me to have such a large dog hit the side of my car like that.

haha yes they are.. the most damage he did was about a softball size dent that popped right out. I thought for sure my whole passenger side was toasted so i was shocked to see such little damage.

Got one a few days ago. Saw him crossing the road, looked over to the passenger seat to grab my Mountain Dew "04 can't hold bottles" then heard a thump. Looked in the rear view and I see him running around in small circles with his head down. Wonder if he stood up to see the primitive skid plate?
