Or a used Honda/Toyota might be easier to find. If I only had $5 large for a car, I probably wouldn't have the disposable income to be driving to the ski slopes so I wouldn't care so much about awd.

A maita is good too, but not very practical. I almost got one instead of my L cause it took so long to find a used AWD manual L for ~$5000, cause ~$5k miatas are everywhere.
