a) you mean afterfire (backfire is in the intake I believe....really not good)
b) its caused by unburnt fuel in an extremely hot exhaust system
c) unburnt fuel means your engine isnt running as efficiently as it can which means you could be pushing more HP and probably arent going to "punk your cousins evo"

 

How about rather than making your car sound like it has something wrong with it, get a decent catback and make it sound sick?
