First go here and download the Top Gear episode May 9th, you can bittorrent other episodes their too.

Now look here:

HOLY....*****! If you can drop in a celicia, a K20, I'm sure you could drop in a 4G63 or 3SGTE or something. Imagine the power to weight ratio in a 1900 pound car which ALSO handles as one of the best in the world (compared to say a 1900 pound civic hatch with a built H22 that makes like 600hp too but can't turn worth crap)

Dude H22 in a civic hatch will throw off the suspension geomotry and will cause the car to understeer a lot. I know the H22 is very heavy and will put all the weight in the front. so basiclly you will be doing 3 point turns all day.

Actually what you both are saying about the H22 is somewhat skewed. People typically hear that about the motor and treat it like it's written in stone. I know several people who track their cars with H22s and have no problems at all. The weight difference between the H22 and a B18 is VERY minor when comparing other motors. The statement that the H22 is horrible for turning is very incorrect.

You miss my point: how many 600 hp, 10 second drag civics with HUGE front slick tires attached to their steering racks can also handle a roadcourse like a Lotus Elise/exige/340R can? I'm going to say none, in fact I'm going to say that no civic racecar can outpace a Lotus racecar.
I wasn't flaming, I'm just saying that a Lotus Exige, heck a 340R, with the same and less curb weight as a GUTTED civic racecar, will handle better. Am I really wrong?
And I was just commenting that if they can fit a K20 in the Lotus, they can probably fit Cybernation's 600 hp K20 in there as well!
I know some of you are honda experts here, so enlighten me if I'm mistaken.

i soo wanted that like 6 months ago, i was on a freaking rage for it. Called up every lotus dealer in the west (nevada over) haha.
NO ONE i talked to said an exige was coming, they were happy to take an order for an elise (would have taken a year to get it tho)
Then i lost my job a month or two later.
and someone has built a turboed k20 and dropped it in an elise from that company.
Prototype racing Inc. is bad ***... haha

h22 COMPLETE swap is 175lbs heavier then a stock civic setup (this is an ex motor tranny combo)
H22's arent that much heavier, nothing a bit of counter weighting and stiffer springs couldnt take care of.
