i predict total redesign in 2007.

subaru will make bank in the next 4-5 years in the u.s.
in the global market subaru sales have increased a average of 20 percent(or something very close to that)
as soon as we see the prototypes in the Super Special Stages in wrc... u can be sure that it'll hit our shores very soon after.

I've heard rumors for a redesign starting with the '06 model. Doubtful though since we haven't really heard anything from SOA or seen anything in terms of spy pics, but..eh. I remember Acura dealers talking with me about when the Integra would get a redesign and they were saying it was 'next year' back in 98

from my personal experience with SOA in our training seminars it appears that SOA tends to be left in the dark on certain things. i must say that FHI is very good in keeping a product line secret. here in the u.s. we don't have those paparazzi style shots of cars in black taped off hoods and black wheel covers-driving around detroit.
however 2006 may seem feasible, but since the car would have to come out in the middle of 2005(to follow subarus tradition of releasing a product early) i think its highly unlikely. sales for the wrx have sort of reached a "plateau" (due in part to the market catching up) suggesting a redesign very soon.
