Help with clean up
For those of you that like to wrench on your own cars hear is a little advice that will help with clean up. We all know how black our hands are after working on the car and how hard it is to clean them afterwards. Well here is a little trick I found by accident. Use K&N filter cleaner to clean your hands. It's a heavy duty degreaser that will take your hands from filthy to mother approved in about 10 seconds. Works good on car parts as well.

I don't know what K&N uses in their filter element cleaner but I vaguely remember that it had an odor similar to general automotive parts solvent the type that many garages use. You pay more for K&N because it comes in either an aerosol can or little squeeze bottles.
It could very well be a much more effective cleaner than regular solvent but I'm not that keen on using any chemicals like that on my skin. You might consider using hand cleaner with the pumice particles or using gloves like that which are sold under the Mechanix® brand name.
