Man, if it's poker you want, there's lots more action at the local card rooms like Lucky Chances, Artichoke Joes, Bay 101, Oaks, etc, than at Cache Creek. The local card rooms have lots of poker (hold'em, omaha, hi-lo, stud, etc) and some "California" and asian games (no bust black jack, pai gow, etc). Cache Creek is where you go for OTHER games like real blackjack (not the crap they have at the card rooms), roullette, etc.
That being said, I would go to cache creek for blackjack. Nothing like starting with 100 bucks and leaving with 500 in an hour
. If I want to play poker , there's lots of options in the area, including online, but for blackjack, you have to go to a regular casino. Of course, it all depends on when the meet is scheduled.
