hey i was gonna get a 6 speed put in but after seein the price i decided to worry bout that once i win the lottery...

anyways I was looking into perhaps a fornt mounted intercooler.

What are your opinons on this? Is this a nice addition with fairly generous perks? Also what brand would you recommend?

Save money and go to a junkyard and pick up a FMIC cheap. I picked up two big ones for $175.

You can find loads of them. from volvos to trucks. Some too big for your cars. You can find ones like this low as $50 bucks. Ask for an isuzu npr Intercooler. Approx: $100 bucks.

So what is the advantage of having a top mounted Intercooler?
Seems that would make a lot more sense at least from all the research I've been doing. The only advantage i see is that there is less of a chance of breaking the top mounted 'cooler if you run into something.

advantage is usually less of a pressure drop due to less piping.
