I'm sure that this is certainly not "new" news, however, I recently played a demo that came with XBOX magazine called Forza Racing.... or Forza Motorsports. I must say as big of a Gran Turismo fan, I believe that this is Microsoft's answer. You could drive a mulitude of cars ranging from production cars ( STI, EVO, C6, Vipers)...on up to LMP cars (ie Audi R8s, McLaren F1 GTR)

The obvious STi: which IMO had the closest driving and SOUND ( almost perfect) to the inherit understeer that subies have OEM suspention.

Evo: sounded pretty close from what I have heard.

Viper SRT10: same wierd rumble

Ferrari 360: AMAZINGLY close in sound and tons of fun oversteer.

I was impressed that this was not another arcade style racer that dazzeled you with pretty grafix, but junky driving simulation. The demo lets you drive around Laguna Seca with about 8-9 different cars. This felt like the real deal. If anyone is into driving games, this one is going to be a keeper.
