Evo X Commercial

I just saw the new Evo X commercial and I have to admit it but it looked pretty cool, not that i'm jumping on the Evo bandwagon or anything, I love my STi too much

The IX is definitely better than the X. The new one weighs more than a semi and is butt ugly. BUT I'll admit it...EVO IX's are friggin sexy cars. Very easy to make fast. The recaros in them are sweet, the brakes are actually slightly bigger than what Subaru is puttin on. (not by much). Overall, EVO's are awesome. That is just my 0.2 cents.

I like the new one, kind of an odd shape but the cars can't stay the same forever.

It's OK to love more than one car... they don't really care if you do :RockOn - not mine:

I've seen a blue Evo X running around San Jose on like 3 or 4 different occasions. Still looks like a sporty Volvo and the side panels makes the stock wheels look like 15"s.

There were many versions of the Evo 9:

-The RS (stripped with no options, no power windows, locks, etc..)

-The base 9 which is just normal

-The SE (special edition, bbs rims, aluminum roof)

-The SSL (sun roof, upgraded sound system and leather)

And finally the MR with the 6 Speed. Personally I think the 9 SE was the best version, I read that the 6 speed in the MR was less reliable than the 5 speed. I almost bought the 9 SE but I opted to buy a used STi instead....saved me about $10K! And I was not about to buy a used evo....

The SE also had HID lights and the black recaro seats have red stiching (front and back). I've had mine for a bit over a year, still stock (except for boost and oil temp gauges). It's my DD - and I love every minute I drive it.
