Electric Supercharger?????

http://www.electricsupercharger.com/index.shtml

Claims 5% HP increase
Could this even be worth it?? Also claimed to almost eliminate turbo lag in the magazine that I found it in.

Anyone seen anything like this?
I'm more than not convinced.

Any thoughts?

Supercharger with no lag.... Go to your local home and garden store, pick up a leaf blower, a 12VDC inverter and a switch. See where I'm going with this? Cheap and not worth it. Turbocharger for the win!

This thread reminds me of one of the greatest BS "electro charger" threads of all time:

When the owner of the company starts to chime in, it becomes golden.

Hey guys,
Like I said "I'm MORE than not convinced"

Sounded like a joke to me, but I wasn't sure.

Although one of the videos was kinda funny, watching the thing fly outta the guy's hands.

Consensus is that it'd work good on a ricer civic?
