Lightbulb dynacam, exotic engine design

I was bored and reading around on the net about exotic engine designs. I found this engine called the dynacam http://www.dynacam.com
it looks really cool.. makes 200hp and 600ft/lbs of torque at 2000rpm and weighs about 300lbs. their main target app seems to be airplanes and torpedos.. any specific reason it wouldn't be a good idea for a car?

Basically because of packaging restraints and the inability to rev it. That's a lot of torque down low, but to go fast you'd need such tall gearing that it wouldn't really have any advantages over conventional engines. Looks great for its applications though.
