it works on a WRC rally car, but imagine being a prospective buyer of a sub $20,000 econo-sedan (ie, base impreza) that looks like that...WAY too radical for 165hp...

but, I do actually think we'll see some of that B11S concept in the future as subaru goes more "upscale"

I love it. Certainly better looking than the rally cars Mitsubishi and Citroen have running, and always better looking than a Focus...

actually, the way the light bends on the driver side front quarter panel, i'd say that it does have fender flares.

i like it. it's a bit futuristic, but if they had the ***** to produce the bugeyes, maybe they will do this. besides, i can see the front end on a smaller vehicle, which is the direction the designer wants to take anyhow.

now just imagine it with 3 inches above the tire and the well and crappy 16inch rims and fat high profile tires.

o... and minus the rally rear views as well....

nah, nothing like this - like i've said, the window shape is the exact as our current model - this is just a mock up, a tacked on bodykit. I'm guessing the new grill will have the shape, but be far les pronounced. I'm holding off on buying an sti until i see what the next model is going to look like.

how is this any different from any other production vs. concept car? more specifically, how is this any different from the wrx from subaru's rally impreza?

the lines and body design are INSPIRED...it'll look somewhat awkward, but the current WRX and STi models are hardly the spitting image of the prodrive rally car.

This is pretty crude, I did it in Paint.

I don't think I like all the Alfa Romeo influences.

Of all the complaints, I understand the Alfa Romeo "influence" complaints the least. The Alfa is a luxury-class car with a wonderful track record in Europe and they make some of the best small sports cars around; what is wrong, exactly, with a Subaru that looks more European and worldly?

Car Info: No car right now....sob.
I have seen this before. It is supposed to appear in the next Gran Turismo. Some guy decided to create one, so, he whipped out the Photoshop. Not gonna happen.
