well took my car in today to Kniesels Auto Body in Rocklin and got an estimate. Total comes out to be over $1600.

They said most of it will not buff out. There are paint chips missing, and can see where it also cracked the paint. Polish/buff the hood and with the grill and front bumper it would be repainted....

So now im just waiting on the Police report to give to my insurance so they can start working with the truck drivers insurance.

Well went into the CHP today and got a copy of the report. That crap cost me $10 to get! I should make then pay for that too

So im going to fax in the report to my insurance and they will contact the truckers insurance. Another thing i was going to ask about, if my car is going to be there for over a day, i wonder if the truckers insurance would pay for a rental car?

making progress...

well my insurance opened up a claim with the trucking insurance. I called them yesterday and left a message, they were closed because they are east coast, and they called back today. They are looking over the claim and damages. They seem way more on top of things than my insurance has ever been I asked about a rental car and she said yes they would cover that no problem. Told me once she knows more about whats going on she will call and update me about it.

so still making progress...slowly but its progress.

Lady just called me. Said everything looks good so far. Her supervisor is back in town Monday and just has to approve everything. Then I can take my car in, and get a rental.
