'69 was a one-off body style. right? As in it was different than the '68 and'70.....

yes dahveed, thats right, that style was exclusive to the '69.

this car makes me think about the '69 that my uncle is finally putting together (we just found the shell, we've had the engine ready for almost 2 years)...

1300+ HP Blown 502

8 Sec. 1/4 mile (we think/calculated)

That is the "Thrasher" my friend Jody helped build it up in the Sacramento area.

That car realistically probably has ~$200K into it. Its done right, and its quick.
You should see Jody's personal car www.camcojb.com It is your typical 1200HP Corvette Suspensioned 6 speed 69 Camaro.

Honestly I build cars like that, if you are into them I can show you some monsters.
Anyone who goes to the NCRC event this Friday / Sat will see one of our nastier cars out there.

Are you sure about that? I'm pretty sure that's Mark Steilow's Mule, as built up in PHR. If it's the same car, I'm sad that I've never seen it around Sac.

Sweet-*** car regardless.

Post some pics. I think everyone here would enjoy them.

Now that is one BAD A$$ Camaro. I wonder if you could take it anywhere without it overheating though. Probably just a show car.

That car is most definitely not a show car. It's a bruiser, built by a GM motorsports engineer to handle first, then go crazy, crazy fast second (it wasn't originally a turbo car)

Nice. I remember seeing the pre-flare pics of that track Camaro a couple years back and wondered what became of it. Where's your shop?

holy crap man. That thing is rediculous. And if you figure that's only a 389....and at 16 psi. He could probably go a bit higher and be safe with that motor. That's rediculous...madness. haaa.

there's a dude in fremont with a blown 29 that last I talked to him was shooting for numbers like that out of a 400. 1100plus.

I wouldn't mind putting together like a 650hp mopar. or buy my brothers 55 chevy and drop a 600hp 400 small block into it.
