I've convinced my fiancee to buy an Impreza. However, I just saw how CHEAP the Saabaru has gotten. It's quite reasonable to suspect that we can pick up a Saabaru cheaper than we can an Impreza. So, Subaru or Saabaru AND WHY?

 

The 06 saabaru is almost all the same except you don't get the 4 pot front/2 pot rear brakes that come on the wrx. Also no roof rails on the Saabaru. The seats in the Saabaru are different also.

 

I like the looks of the Saabaru better than those of the WRX Wagon....

 

What level are you talking about getting?

WRX/92-x Aero? Or the non turbo models?

Either way, it's going to boil down to what you like visually. Performance wise they are nearly identical.

The money factor will be a big issue too, how much will you save on interest with the cheaper car?

If the Saab is cheaper....I'd probably go for the Saab. But as far as looks, I like the 06 WRX Wagon's face better. That's just me though.
