being a long time bmw lover, i honestly have to say that bangle-ized cars just look like a messed pile o' poo. may chris bangle burn in hell for his bastardization of the bmw line

Same here. I love all the older BMW's but the new styling is hideous. This guy probably thinks he's ahead of his time, but his styling is confused. He doesn't know if the cars lines should go up or down. BMW's of the past 40 years followed a natural evolution in which the cars maintained their heritage. Bangle has just gone off on a tangent. There is no functionality in his designs. IMO there is no place for concave panels on a cars body, he just wants to push the envelope. I always loved BMW's because they were simple, straight-forward designs, yet they were beautiful and functional.

The front and rear profile's look horrible. The side profile is really nice though. I assume this is another Bangle creation? It's unbelievable how one man can forever change the looks of an entire line of cars (aside from the 3 series thus far). Certainly not a good thing. On a more upbeat note, I hear he isn't the design guy anymore
