Best HP for the buck??
Hey Guys I was Looking at vishnu's stage 0 and realized that for almost the same money one could buy a turbo back and get a cobb reflash. Instead of 201 whp I could get 220+ whp......Both claim 285 BHP..........Is cobb being conservitive or is vishnu being optimistic???
I went with Cobb's reflash and a used Vishnu turboback that I got a good deal on. I have no complaints. ECUtek also forces Vishnu, Rallyperformance and others to pay a fee for the technology of the reflash. Cobb developed their own technology and that's why it's cheaper. How is Vishnu being "optimistic"? Are you referring to their horsepower claims or them charging twice as much as Cobb for a reflash?

I was referring to the fact that cobb's stage 2 access ECU claims 285 bhp while Vishnu stage 0 claims 285bhp as well, but the dyno numbers are 20 whp off........Whose got it right??Or is it just a different grade of gas??Anyway just curious......I want to get the turbo back and and a reflash everybody I've heard from has been really pleased!!!

ok I think I figured it.........Vishnu is using 91 octane thats one reason......I didn't see what kind of dyno there using......But that answers my queston......Comparing vishnu's stage 0 and cobb's stage 1 or 2 is not an apples to apples comparison......at least I think ............I may be really confused
But oh well I'll learn what I'm talking about someday!!
