Hi all.

See this thread. This guy is helluva douche bag.

Goes to shop to get paint job. Comes back with more work requests. Doesn't have money to pay for the car. Tries to scam the shop in giving his car back to him. Also has other scamming history.

but if the shop estimated close to $10k worth of parts and labor, is it not customary to expect a downpayment. even just to cover parts?

maybe like 50%?
