Wow! What a read. Talk about 'street racing'!

I am tipping my hand here with my age. But, I had the entry fee paid one year and had to back out due to a job I could not say no to ~ This is when everything was 'underground' and launched from a Manhattan garage and ended in Redondo Beach. But, I was there at the 'finish line' to watch them roll in...

This is what it takes now to try and beat the record. Did they do it in a humble M5? Yep, they have me as a believer!

32 hours is damn fast

 

If you want to be glued to your seat for 10 minutes ~ grab the book @ Barnes & Noble and read the section about the run into Rome on his Gumball run through Europe. I will bet the price of the book, you'll go to the cashier and buy it!

 

I have passed this book to about six guys at the dealership and NOBODY can put it down once they start. If you want a 'fast ride' and even a faster read... pick it up!
