I look at the Saab like this- if I bought a WRX wagon, I'd replace the suspension, wheels, and tires anyway. Therefore, I would do the same on the 9-2x, so it doesn't matter how sucky the ride or handling are. Also, I think the Saab looks better, but that's a highly personal and subjective choice and I have no problem with those who disagree. Third, there are going to be a lot fewer 9-2s made than WRXs, making them rarer. Lastly, I would be willing to bet you guys that the 9-2s are walking off the lots for $24k out the door by the end of the model year, because that's just how GM does things. Also, I'd put the S U B A R U badging on the back of it jsut to be true to my roots. Or maybe I'd make my own S A A B A R U badge instead, hahaha.

Anyways, after re reading the posts in here, i really dont understand the saab hating. I personally hate what GM is doing to the company (a saab SUV?? WTF?) and due to that it is losing a lot of its, "unique flair" that was found in the old 900/9-3 and especally in the old 9000. But, i dont understand what people hate about saab as a company. I would think that people would like saabs coming from the subaru world (Turbo, mainly 4cyl, unique car) but i guess i was wrong.

Basically what I'm asking is: why all the hat of the saab brand?
