I bought a guage pod for where the clock goes I want to know how to get the clock cover off and should the pod sit perfect. Its a wrx 2007

VERY carefully...its easy to snap the tabs that hold it in the dash. Pry GENTLY starting at the rear (closest to windshield) with a wide tool wrapped in tape so it doesn't gouge the dash or clock pod. Go slowly and evenly on the sides and pivot it out from the front. that is, if you want to save the clock pod (they do have some value in resale).

I forced mine and the clock pod shattered into big pieces, brittle from sun exposure. GL

 

^^^ Pretty much, it's just a bunch of plastic tabs, so you can just pull it out. Just take it slow.
