2007 Bmw 335
Does anyone know anything about this new 3 series from BMW? I'm considering buying one. They run around the mid $40K's. Would love to know thoughts and opinions.
Thanks!

I just saw the first commercial for one today. Says twin turbo 300hp, which I already new. I believe I saw one on the street also. Seems pretty quick. I know it will have tons of potential. With some mods you'll kill M3's.

I just picked mine up this past weekend. It is real nice. Surprisingly quick and very torquey. And it's only going to get faster...

If that is something you like, you should go for it. I know that there has been a lot of positive reviews about the car and its performance. Aside from potential problems Euro cars suffer from all that technology. BMW does produce a better car than say, VW, Audi, and MB.

Many Supra tuners actually eliminate the second turbo and just go for one honking big one; twin turbo does not equal twice the power, and has no more or less tuning potential than a single-turbo setup.
This review mentions the twin-turbo setup and its affect on turbo lag, and also notes that the engine starts making torque at 1,000 RPM -- just what BMW drivers are used to.

And here's a link to an article about the Legacy B4, a twin-turbo model made from (I think) 1996 to 2001 and available in Japan and Australia. Note that Subaru has gone to a single twin-scroll turbo for the Legacy models made more recently. Still no US version planned.
