2.0 to a 2.5

What does it take to bore out a 2003 wrx 2.0lt to a 2.5lt? Is it possible, and what if any engine mods does it take. Price range?

2.0 to 2.5 is not possible to my knowledge without an engine swap. Tommy Kaira makes a 2.2 litre stroker kit though but it is about 4 grand

Cobb Tuning offers a 2.5 liter upgrade for the 2.0 engine.

Or just get an STI short block for $1500 and toss that in.

you can not bore the 2.0L to a 2.5L, the most you can probably get out of a wrx motor is 2.2L. a lot of people switch to the 2.2L block and bore that to a 2.4L. or you can just go for the sti short block
