TS Suspension
TS Suspension
Bought the wife a 2002TS wagon (I wanted the WRX but hey, its her car) and against my suggestion, she didn't opt for the Outback Sport model. Now, she thinks it was a mistake so what can I do, short of trading in and losing big $$. The big attraction of the Outback was the suspension - extra height and stiffness to allow us to use the Subie on gravel logging roads to get to our cabin. Any ideas or recommendations on how we can improve the existing suspension at reasonable dollars? I note that most are lowering, we want to go the other way! Any recommendations for a Lower Mainland supplier/tuner?
Assume the WRX seats would be an easy bolt in?
Thanks guy.

WRX seats should be easy. You may not be able to use the side-air bags for it though. There was a set for sale at TOTAL Motorsports taken out of a brand new WRX.
I would think you could buy oem Outback Sport springs and put them onto your TS. I'm not certain how different the struts/springs between the two models are - fit wise but it would seem reasonable that you should be able to swap them.

When I lowered my 99 OBS I compared the part numbers of the struts to the RS. They were the same, so I assume the only difference is in the springs. You probably can buy some used OBS springs pretty cheap or check Ground Control adjustable suspension.
