hey guys im looking to buy one, but am really comfused on what kind/year to buy... i do have lots of plans to upgrade but i am very new to the subaru family ( lots of background in toyotas tho!) so i am confused on which year/type is better. performace wise, most likely forced induction would be my plan. any help would be awsome i hope to buy one pretty soon.

haha sorry about that yes im looking at a impreza... and the forced induction and NA is were im stuck at.. is it better to work up to a turbo or start off with one and upgrade that...

 

I think Ben is asking you, are you looking for a Wrx or a 2.5RS/TS?

I think unless you really want the old 98-01 GC8 model Imprezas, which for some people seem to be almost as important as having a turbo, almost everyone will tell you that as far as ease of modification for the power you want, go with the Wrx. It is quite difficult and expensive to give the 2.5L engines force induction.
