Scariest? R5 Turbo Series 2. Fastest 928 with major engine and suspension work... Slowest? A rental full size wagon loaded with camera equipment and one screaming rookie camera assistant (me).

Wink

Ramps closed for 'filming' with the CHP there, shouldn't count ~ right? I found I enjoyed driving more then filming ~ 'closed course' is best!

If it counts... the Coronado Bridge (before they shut it down to filming!) talk about 'top speed' runs!

A 928 faster than Devek's "white car"? His wife held over 200mph in the flying mile in the silver state classic with that thing. The shop used to be behind where I worked, and we would drop everything when they would take it out. Amazing car.

I like this Brokaw onto 880N onramp. (across from Fry's)

Can have quite a bit of fun with this as there's two lanes going onto the freeway (one is carpool). Love whipping the tail around this one and getting on 880 a bit sideways. Long merge lane once you get on too.

Yup! Doesn't look like much on the map but it's an S-turn followed by a 90 right to "long straight". It usually scares most people into taking it painfully slow. That usually means anyone who knows how to drive a line will leave most people far behind without even trying. The best part is, it's one lane with no oncoming traffic.

Highway 17 to 280 south...Nice little curve with a drop slight drop of elevation. I used to take this turn pretty hard when I had my celica.

nothing turns me on more than a good gutter dip on any offramp.

I have my own circuit, you need to know about the 101/shoreline remodel...85N shoreline exit (4-5 lane wide S curve with SERIOUS G elevation) you actually feel like your on a track, not that i would know...then you get back onto 101 N and immediately exit middlefield...u turn in the street... get back on 101 S and exit shoreline...u turn at taco bell, get back on 101 S exit moffet...then either go back the way you came or cut over to 85 S exit Grant and u turn at Allison BMW and get back on 85 N back to 101 (270' constant with brand new asphalt)
http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&z=15...29182&t=k&om=1

85-S 280-E is fun because you can swoop hella cars when the commuter lane slllllowly opens up.

17-N@Lexington (the tightest most banked turn in the world)
