About as well as I hoped from the A's with Verlander on the mound, but hey there's a lot more baseball to be played

Not disappointed at all about how they played. With Verlander on the mound it's always gonna be a tough win. Parker looked solid too, just a few mistakes. LETS GO A's

V can't pitch every game. Now worries, they've bounced back from worse.

I gave 'em a pass for Game 1 because Verlander is just so damn dominant! Would've been great to give him another troublesome inning or two. Really stoked how well Parker pitched. He & the rest of the rookie staff have shown so much maturity all season. They avoided some serious disaster on that shallow popup that Penny nabbed. Phew!

Yesterday's game was downright frustrating. While both pens had issues, it was like the A's got a taste of their own medicine.

My hopes are still up because of the resiliency the Green & Gold has shown all year, but they sure have painted themselves into a corner.

I'm gonna be screaming my head off tomorrow. I seem to recall that a couple of y'all also scooped up tix. Any of y'all tailgating or wanna meet up for a pre-game brew or two?

I'm leaving straight from work so no time for a tailgate session.

I'll be in section 201 hoping for a miracle come back.

They've come back all year... but they need a sweep.

Giants look in worse shape than the A's. A's at least had a shot both games to win. Giants... not so much. Dominated.

Yeah, I figured most will be in the same boat as you. I plan to get there before 5 to watch the end of the Giants game in the WestSide Club. Because they've got work til 5, my buddy who's sitting w/ me in 224 and my cousin & his gf who are sitting just below us won't be there til closer to first pitch.

I'm both stoked & nervous that this game will be another nail-biter. We really needed to split in Motown. But if there's a team in the postseason that could pull off the comeback, it's our 2012 Oakland A's!

The crowd was amazing tonight. The A's were able to get back on their game plan.

Pitching? Check
Defense? Double Check (CoCo and Yo)
Long Ball? Check

The A's won't go down easily and can't wait to use my tickets for Game 5.

Yeah the crowd was crazy. So awesome to see all the yellow towels being waved. Also seeing Balfour warm up from close range was awesome. That guy is a beast.

Can't wait for the game tonight!
