However, all of that could have been avoided by changing his voicemail announcement to indicate that he was on vacation and would not be checking his phone.

 

It's a moot point; but the fact that he TOLD her about this trip the day he left and she just didn't listen during the entire time he was planning...inexcusable.

Then going off on a tirade instead of actually THINKING about it...c'mon...

She is definitely dumb for not even listening when he had told her that he was leaving. But I was thinking more along the lines of, maybe if he left an indication on his voicemail in regards to him not being able to get to his phone, maybe she wouldn't go as crazy as she did. Not saying that he was in any way at fault for this ordeal. In the end, at least he was able to see her true colors.. Better sooner than later.
