No there was a piece of plastic that was needed to adjust the vertical alignment which had snapped off into the housing that's why I couldn't adjust the POS. We didn't know wtf was going at first until we pulled the headlight out, shook it and heard a rattling sound. Long story short we baked the headlights opened the housing and attached the piece back. Anyways it looks sick so the effort was worth it. LOL Preston that **** went from a simple mod to a freaking chore.

It's the McCulloch HID kit, 6000k. Installing the kit was easier than I thought you should definitely do the project the difference in lighting is well worth it.
Comparison photos of Standard 04 STi Reflector HID Beam Pattern vs 02/03 EDM Retrofit HID Projector Beam Pattern. Notice how his lights are a higher kelvin rating, so they're more white. I believe his are 6000 while the STi are, I don't know, 5000? Anybody know the exact numbers? Also notice: Kenny's beam for the passenger side used to be WAY up, pointing towards the sky. We had to bake the light and pop the retainer piece back in.
Also a few shots of Kenny's car - his car looks sweet. Hand held shots, no tripod, ISO400 on Shutter Priority, 14-54mm f/2.8 lens, Olympus E-500.

I want HIDs in my wagon but I always read about people having tons of problems.
Once I am done with everything else on my car (need EGT gauge, P&P&C stock headers, end links and STi pinks w/KYBs) I will get HIDs unless for some reason my bulbs blow up.
