You know the bay area is ghetto when...
So I was driving between 65 -70 mph on hwy 280 yesterday morning when I noticed a cop behind me. The next thing i know the cop starts tailgating me. I got pissed so I slowdown to 60 mph. All so the sudden the cop changes lanes and cuts me off pretty hard.
So you know the bay is ghetto when cops tailgate people for driving the speed limit.

Question on that, my cousin just switched to a 04 WRX but back when he had a 02 accord, he got pulled over by a motorcycle cop. I appr, 3 cars behind him when this happened and I know he wasn't going +45 in a 45 zone. There were too many cars around to be going 50 or 60. Cop pulls him over and asks him why he got pulled over...I f**king hate that! Then he gives him a speeding ticket and the ticket says "Radar: NO". What are the chances of contesting and winning this? Cuz I contested my ticket and lost my chance for Traffic School...Now insurance is up! He doesn't want the same thing to happen to him so what do you guys think he should do?

well, he should obviously contest that citation. go to www.ticketassassin.com and read the whole damn thing.
i'd be willing to bet you goofed on your case because it's actually really easy to get off a simple speeding ticket. the easiest and most effective way to contest is through written declaration. just don't forget to sign the damn thing.

Beating tickets
Very hard to do if the cop has his stuff straight. The worst thing to do is by written declaration. The best thing to do when pulled over and be honest and hope he gives a warning. remeber most cops have many years of experiance and druring that time have written thousands of tickets and even more visual estimations whcih the court considers during the prceedings. Depending on how many of each he can be condsidered an expert.

Re: Beating tickets
What? I beat an 88 in a 55 by written declaration.
I recently beat an 88 in a 65 (lost the initial trial, then contested and had it dismissed in court. It's the only way you get to fight the cop twice!)
I'm currently fighting another one and have not yet received the verdict yet....
So in other words.... eat me.

Heh heh I nearly T-Boned a cop cruiser over the weekend. I was driving on Kezar going the limit (35) when this cruiser comes shooting out of the station driveway, no hesitation, no lights/sirens! I had to slam my brakes to keep from nailing his rear quarter panel. WTF's up wit dat?!
Those Kezar station cops got issues: one tailed me 3 blocks then cut me off on Stanyan, another followed me from Haight all the way to Portola. Damn Kezar station! Hehe felt good to vent
