Alright, I'll have all the Dry Fog Odor Removal stuff by mid next week. If you are interested, please email me to make an appointment. The whole procedure would take about 30-40 minutes and mostly waiting.

Please continue to vote! Remember, its dry fog, none of that "febreze" stuff. It goes through your ventilation system and deep into your seats.

Also keep an eye out. I'll be posting a new thread soon with more details like procedures, pricing, etc.

How does this compare to using an ozone generator, other than that it sounds to be quicker?

I know ozone generators are typically focused on "smoker's cars".. curious as to strengths/weaknesses between the two. I can definitely think of someone who's car needs something... sort of a mildew/bad feet smell.

do you mean ozone generator as in those thing they have at sharper image?

the difference would be the "ozone generator" removes odor in the air. vs. Dry Fog goes through the ventilation system with an odor neutrolizer/counteractant. And it goes into your fabric and cushions.

I hope that is the answer you are looking for.

if you have kids, "protein" is not all that uncommon. Urine was the one that I didn't think of when I first came across it. But if you have animals or if your kids had an 'accident', it would come pretty handy. Oh, or if your friend decided get really drunk and 'relaxed' in your car... LOL!

BTW, I only work over the weekends and doing travel up to SF/Berkely area regularly. So let me know if you have the need.

It has some scents, but not the 'new car' scent. Unfortunately the supply company doesn't carry the new car scent...

Um, I think Sharper Image is seling ionizers, that attract odor particles in the air.

I'm talking about heavy duty ozone generators, like the type that are sold to auto shops that want to get the cigarette smoke odor out of a car. They're also used in gyms with a soaking tub.. don't recall why, just know they use them.

Pricing should come out around next wed and I can start providing the service as soon as Nov 18/19. Now if you are local to San Jose/Santa Clara, I can do that during weekday as well since I don't need lighting for this.

Reason for taking so long on the pricing thing is because I am still debating if I should have options so people can select the package/pricing for their needs. Or I should just have a standard pricing for all standard size cars. Also since this service can be done on furniture and rooms, I am working on pricing for that as well.

In that case, I can't tell you since I don't know anything about the ozone generators. Sorry.

Hmm...im definently wanting this, just gotta lemme know when you finalize on a price for this service. I'm also going to get my windows tinted maybe sometime by the end of the month if I can. I'm going to do it at omega tint werks. Since this is a completely dry process it wouldnt leave any sort of residue or mess with getting tint on my car? Thanks

doughboy,
I am definitely going to provide this service. Final pricing should be out in a day or two.

maddhatteroo7,
it's dry fog, but it does attract to dust. But it wipes right off. It does not produce a sticky residue.

for some strange reason, I don't get an email notification when someone post to this thread... sorry for the late replies...

Leo
