My one piece of advice is:
Don't feel obligated to take action, just because you have "powers" doesn't mean that you need to use them all the time. Take your time, and be smart about what you chose to moderate. I would ONLY moderate things that were BLATENT violations of the rules... Like if someone posts pics of Tub girl, spam, etc... As for flaming... Only time I did anything is if someone would stalk someone and bash them repeatedly for no reason... Like that scoo*B guy... and even then, I'd only give them a verbal warning... If they didn't calm down, thats when the points were issued.
But like I said, just take your time and don't feel obligated to do something just because you can... Most days you don't have to do anything at all... Sometimes move a thread or two, or change someone's thread title if they request it... But overall BAIC is pretty good in terms of behavior (believe it or not). We're not NAZIOC, no need to be mod *****.
Because you have those pink letters under your name will turn you into a target... People will AUTOMATICALLY treat you differently. Just like people treat cops differently... You'll gain some enemies just for that fact alone, so don't take it personally...
It may seem like a cool thing at first, but you'll hate it eventually... The more you do, the more people will complain about you... Don't let that discourage you, you're helping this site, and members like me who appreciate you guys will always have your back no matter what... So remember that.

BAIC is pretty laid back for the most part. Just every once in a while you'll get a drama thread here and there. Mostly on fridays from what i've seen.
But it is, home sweet home.
