Car Info: '04 v.2 FPGreen STi by GST Motorsports
FPGreen, FMIC, Meth, etc...GST THANK YOU!!!
Please excuse another "+1 to GST" thread.
I have to preface all this by saying I've waited to get the work done on my car at GST since Mike W. was without a shop. Even during his transition period, he still took the time to answer my PM's about my car.
I originally wanted a 20G and a tmic on my '04 STi, which became just a bit more. Derek (*The Dope Dealer) helped steer me in the right direction, and offered the best "No Pressure" customer service. Although the guys in the garage don't get much play, Tommy (*The Gangster) of the garage took excellent care of my car...bumper cutting and all. And Mike (*The Killer) on the dyno did what he does best.
[*Reference=WestSide Connection, rap music genre]
We went with an FPGreen, Perrin fmic, headers, AVCR, SMC Meth Kit, etc... The car made 340whp / 376wtq on 91 and meth on a Mustang. What's crazy is the guys weren't happy with the numbers and we'll be trying for more sometime soon.
I picked the car up last Friday nite, drove to SF, then home to Tracy. Saturday, i drove to Sacramento, and back...the car feels amazing. I, like many others, have read and worried about lag with front mounts and a Green...but i have to say that the lag issue is WAY over rated. Did a few pulls on the 5 when traffic was clear to show wifey...WOW...!!! Its amazing how NORMAL the car drives, but immediatly comes ALIVE when you MASH (technical term) on him... Moderate acceleration isn't really moderate anymore. Wifey likes listening to the kit spray, and the BOV...girls, geez...???
Anyway, sorry for the long post, but if youre in the market to do some upgrading...do youself a favor and go see these guys first.

wow thats cool [adjective meaning neat]. I hope with the new setup you don't get rolled on by the 5-0 [not get pulled over by any sort of law enforcement] and while you are out riding dirty [driving illegally] you get to smoke some ricers[erson who makes unecessary modifications to their most often import car (hence the term "rice") to make it (mostly make it look) faster] in their hatchbacks.
p.s. did you make up their nicknames or did they?

glad to have met ya Na'im... Derek couldn't stop talking about how fun your car is afterward. You've got him itching to get his STi back together. Tommy definitely blasted through all the work you had done.
